CLS curriculum developed by the Joint Trauma System, part of the Defense Health Agency. This course is intended to provide an intermediate step between basic Combat First Aid provider and the Combat Medic. The idea is to ensure that in the absence of a combat medic or corpsman, the CLS will be able to replicate some (though not all) of the treatments for their team until the patients can be evacuated to higher level of medical care or a Medic arrives to take over.
Course Details:
- Introduction to TCCC
- Algorythms and protocols of TCCC
- Wound ballistics, battlefield mechanism of injuries
- Zones of treatment
- Usage of modern tactical medical equipment
- Organizing and managing the IFAK
- Management of massive bleedings (TQ, , Hemostatics, Wound packing,)
- Basic airway management (LRP, Suction, HT-CL, NPA, BVM)
- Management of thoracic injuries (Chest Seal, NICD, NCD)
- Shock management
- Basic & Advance Hypotermia protection (Active - Passive)
- Tactical & Combat Rescue techniques
- Hyper-realistic simulation exercise
Course Requirements:
- No Medical Training Required.
Equipment:
- We provide full tactical/operational gear for our participants
- Tactical vest, helmet, kneepad, weapon sling, googles, safety gear
- Airsoft rifle, radios, headset, PTT
- Complete medical aid bag and IFAKS
- Usage of personal individual gear is permitted.

- Ductape

4 weeks online learning (pre course study)
5 Days - 60 hours

- BDU Pants + shirt
