The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for BLS providers course is designed for individuals with basic medical training and a duty to act in hazardous environments, such as police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel. The training emphasizes the treatment and care of victims of terrorist attacks, mass casualty incidents, active shooter situations, and other violent situations. The course is taught in accordance with the most recently updated C-TECC guidelines.
Course Details:
- Introduction to tactical and combat medicine
- Algorythms and protocols of C-TECC
- Wound ballistics, mechanism of injuries
- Zones of treatment
- Usage of modern tactical medical equipment
- Organizing and managing the IFAK and the tactical aid bag
- Management of massive bleedings (TQ, , Hemostatics, Wound packing, Junctional - TQs)
- Basic airway management (LRP, HT-CL, NPA, I-GEL, Kings Tube , BVM)
- Management of thoracic injuries (Chest Seal, NICD,)
- Management of Shock
- Management of GSW, blast injuries, burns, fractures
- Basic and advance Hypotermia protection (Passive - Active)
- Tactical & Combat Rescue techniques
- Hyper-realistic simulation exercise
Course Entry Requirements:
- Basic Medical Training required !
- Advance First Aid , FPOS-I , FREC Level 3
- Emergency First Aid , Emergency First Response
- Emergency Medical Technitian - Basic or Emergency Medical Responder
- Designated Law Enfocement or Fire Department Medical training
- Or Equivalaent of one of the above
Equipment:
- We provide full tactical/operational gear for our participants
- Tactical vest, helmet, kneepad, weapon sling, googles, safety gear
- Airsoft rifle, radios, headset, PTT
- Complete medical aid bag and IFAKS
- Usage of personal individual gear is permitted.
Recommended Equipment:
